WANT TO BECOME INVOLVED?

Any person meeting the general qualifications for membership as stated below and who is interested in the purposes and principles of the corporation and is willing to uphold the policies and subscribe to its by-laws may become a member of the corporation.

The following are the general qualifications:

• A confessing believer in Jesus Christ as God’s Son, come in the flesh to effect salvation for mankind through

• His death on Calvary and His resurrection on the third day.

• A believer in the Divine inspiration of the Scriptures and committed to the promotion of Christian education and the training of men and women for Christian Service.

• A former board member of Southeastern Christian College in its operation, and other congregations that support the purpose and intent of this corporation.

•  Any qualified person meeting the above stated qualifications as outlined above may be considered for membership by letter from an officer of his/her home congregation.                                  

What are the duties of Corporation Members?

• The duties of the members shall be: (1) to attend the annual meeting of the corporation (during July or August), and (2) to report to home congregation concerning the activities of SCEC.

• The business of the corporation shall be managed by the board of directors elected by the members of the corporation. The corporation has no employees. All corporation members donate their time and effort to promote Christian Education by providing grants to those seeking such an education.
